His career has included roles as an electronics technician, instructor, technical writer, training developer, help desk engineer, webmaster, and training manager. Throughout that time, he has focused on helping technical professionals understand complex technologies through practical, real-world training.
Dennis is the author of the ISCET ESA-1 through ESA-5 study guides and certification examinations. These materials have been used by electronics technicians preparing for professional certification in analog electronics, digital electronics, communications electronics, microprocessors, and related technical disciplines.
Professional Background
During his career, Dennis has worked with organizations including NEC, Chevron, Input/Output Inc., 2ndWave, Akiba/Zensar, and Buffalo Americas. His responsibilities have included developing classroom training programs, creating computer-based and web-based training, writing technical documentation, managing training departments, and delivering technical instruction around the world.
As a global instructor, Dennis traveled internationally conducting technical training on advanced electronics and technology products for customers and technical personnel.
